گسکت لاستیکی دارای خاصیت کشسانی بالا، در دو نوع گسکت با لاستیک طبیعی و گسکت با لاستیک مصنوعی طبقه بندی می شود.
انواع و کاربرد گسکت با لاستیک طبیعی
لاستیک طبیعی یا کائوچو، پلی ایزوپرن است. از مزایای لاستیک های طبیعی، ارزان بودن، انعطاف پذیری در دمای پائین، مقاومت در برابر آب، مقاومت به پارگی، مقاومت در برابر ضربه، مقاومت در برابر رشد برشی بالا، مقاومت در برابر فشردگی و از معایب لاستیک طبیعی، ضعیف بودن در برابر حلال های هیدروکربنی، ضعیف بودن در برابر روغن و بنزین، مقاومت کم در برابر نور خورشید و ازون، مقاومت کم در برابر شعله و اشتعال می باشد.
انواع و کاربرد گسکت با لاستیک مصنوعی
لاستیک بوتادین استایرن (SBR): دارای مقاومت در برابر سایش بهتر، مقاومت در برابر حرارت، عایق الکتریکی عالی، رفتار ضعیف تر در دمای پایین، خاصیت ارتجاعی کمتر.
لاستیک پلی بوتادین (BR): این ترکیب با SBR یا NR است. در دماهای پایین انعطاف پذیر است و از خاصیت ارتجاعی خوبی برخوردار می باشد.
لاستیک ایزوپرن (IR): این لاستیک یکنواخت، تمیزتر و شفاف تر است.
لاستیک بوتادین آکریلونیتریل (NBR): دارای مقاومت در برابر سوخت و روغن، خاصیت دمایی مناسب و مقاومت در برابر سایش است.
لاستیک کلروپران (CR): مقاوم در برابر گریس، مقاوم در برابر شعله و همچنین در برابر روغن، سایش و هوازدگی مقاوم است.
لاستیک بوتیل (IIR): این لاستیک در برابر ازن و مواد شیمیایی مقاوم است. خواص مکانیکی و عایق خوبی دارد. در برابر گازها نفوذپذیری کمی دارد.
